Excellent replacement bowl
There isn't much to say about this. It's just as good as the original. The only downside is the price. I wish it was about $10 cheaper....

Two are much better than one
I always keep a freezer bowl in my freezer because I use it for much more than simply making ice cream and if I had a larger freezer, I'd keep it stocked with two. First of all, I have found that keeping it upside down enables the internal solution to chill faster and more uniformly, and I usually put it on top of other frozen items like a bag or two of peas.
