Perfect! Just what I was looking for!
This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. An avid baker, I was annoyed with my old beater that was absolutely peeling off and rusting. I bought the wrong one (too small - did not reach the bottom of the bowl) and had to buy a new one again! Despite the picture, I was worried about the little object at the top - they need to change the picture - but because I read a previous review - not to worry about it, I took a risk and bought it!...

This is a great replacement...I've always had the white coated beaters, and over time, the white part starts to chip off. Now I don't have to worry about it!

My mistake!!
I failed to notice the word "narrow" in the description of this beater. It doesn't fit correctly (too small) for my kitchenaid lift bowl mixer. I was so disappointed. Also stuck it in the dishwasher before using and the finish comes right off. Again, didn't do my research...can't be put in dishwasher! I ended up purchasing the correct beater at the official Kitchenaid site for same price but paid for shipping. Be sure you have a narrow bowl before throwing your money away like I did. My fault th...
