Great steamer for the price.
I bought this steamer for my wife and she loves it. We have cooked about 4 meals on it and this is great tasting food and the best thing is we are eating very healthy now....

Great steamer if you don't need it to last for more than a week!
I absolutely loved this steamer for the entire week that it worked! I used it daily to cook everything including meats, veggies, hard boiled eggs, and even apples for homemade applesauce. I told everybody who would listen how wonderful it was. The love affair didn't last long, however. After about a week, the power button stopped working. At first, it would not work to turn the machine off so I had to unplug the cord when I was done using it. Then, within a day, I started having to push it abou...

Will Return This
I have owned an Oster 5712 2-tier steamer and use it so much, I wanted to purchase a unit for my mother-in-law for Christmas.
But the local shops were all out of them - we searched everywhere. So we decided to gift the Deni steamer, instead. Although I got it to turn on (after much fiddling!) and steam some raisins that needed plumping for a fruit salad, my MIL was never able to get it to work again, and she tried several times.
The design is flawed. The trays are thin/flimsy and ...
