Perfect for two!
We are empty nesters and I generally don't slow cook for company, so this is the perfect slow cooker for the two of us. Looks great and I love the retractable cord! Very easy to use.

Flawed after all
I was anticipating the fake chrome handles on the body of the appliance(thanks to some reviews read here), but I was not expecting a fake chrome handle on the lid. Even if I had known it were fake, I would not have expected the fake chrome finish to bubble and peel off after just 2 uses (and gentle handwashing too!!!). This is a huge disappointment in quality.
Unlike some others, I have no complaints about rattling lids, or settings being too hot ... all that works great in my case, and ...

Excellent choice for a truly useful appliance
We have had this slow cooker for three months, using it twice a week. So far we are very satisfied.
In researching our purchase and reading numerous reviews, we found that the Cuisinart generally received positive evaluations. There were a few negative ones, but obviously we discounted them and went ahead with the Cuisinart anyway. Some reviewers criticized it for overheating food, but overheating in a slow cooker is usually a sign that the pot was underfilled. A good slow cooker shou...
