Overcooks, even on low setting.
Used each size once. The 2 qt isn't too bad if you use low heat for just 3 or 4 hours, but I cooked baby back ribs for 4 hours on low in the 6 qt, and when I came home they were really overcooked. Could use them for pulled pork, but certainly not ribs amy more. Considering the other reviews for this item, maybe I got a lemon, but it's going into the rubbish, and I'm not trying again. Will stick to the old Rival manual crock pot....

I got this crock pot right before Christmas in order to use it for the meal I was preparing. It was a home run device in my books. I just purchased a book on ideas for meals but so far I have prepared soups, stews, cocktail sausages, beef for sandwiches...endless ideas. And the 3 different sizes for the pots are nice for controlling portions or cooking more than one item, however, the weight of them and their fragility when cleaning them are the only issues I have.

I"ve used the 2 quart size when a recipe calls for a 4 qt many times. I would have to be feeding an army to use the 6 qt. I have the black and stainless steel, which looks great and the crocks nest together nicely taking up less space on my countertop. I had a 6 qt sunbeam, which was just too big for me. This one is...
