17 May 2009 Never would have guessed I would be this excited over a toaster Hi,
I purchased the Breville 2 slice toaster after several months of being very happy with the Breville Ikon Blender and the Breville Smart Convection Oven. I was actually planning to buy the toaster for a long time and did not even know that this toaster has an "elevator". I have owned several toasters and they were just toasters. 16 May 2009 problem within 1 mo i just got this product from amazon in less than 2 weeks. when it got to me, i was surprised at the bulkiness of it, even though i was only getting a 2-sliced version. i would have liked it to be a little slimmer. i started using it right away and did notice the unevenness in results as mentioned by a few other reviewers. i tried to look past all of these but today my defrost light stopped working. the light would not come on. i don't know if its just the light or that the entire defrost ... –Cris Crisfrom Amazon.com
26 Apr 2009 Finally, A Toaster I Can Love! I bought this toaster in December but waited until now to review it. I wanted to be sure it wasn't a silly crush! It wasn't - I'm in love! This Breville is oh so pretty and so fun to use. Four months later it's still working beautifully (the toast is toasted evenly on both side every time) and I haven't found any wonky bits that make me regret the purchase.
