Simple and Perfect
I love this yogurt maker. It is compact, simple to use, and makes great yogurt. I found absolutely no need for the auto shut off. One less thing to break, in my opinion. The glass containers are very nice. This is one of my best and most useful kitchen gadgets.

can't complain for my 1st yogurt maker
PROS: If I knew making yogurt was SO easy (and cheaper than buying from the store), I would have bought a yogurt maker years ago. The yogurt this machine makes tastes great. What I like about this yogurt maker is that the yogurt is prepared in serving size jars. Thus, when the yogurt is done, I put the lids on, stick them in the refrigerator, and they are already in serving size containers for me to pack in my lunch later. lovely yogurt
I'm not sure what everyone is going on about the lack of an off switch. Big deal! I just start my yogurt process at 10pm. First boil the milk, then let it cool, add yogurt or starter and put the jars in the incubator at 11pm. At 7am when I wake up, voila, perfect yogurt that Yoplait would kill for. It's also nice NOT to have the off switch for when you may want to let it incubate longer for whatever reason.
