this is plastic, not stainless on the inside
I was very disappointed that this mug is plastic on the inside, I was shopping for a stainless steel mug. I don't like the taste of hot plastic. They should update the description to better describe it as a plastic mug with a stainless steel sheath....

Not dishwasher safe, no good for travel, but otherwise a nice shiny hunk of metal
This is not a thermal travel mug. It may be useful for a large coffee cup around the house, but is useless for anyone traveling or commuting. First, it is only hand washable, a bit ridiculous for a typically everyday item. Additionally, the lid might work to prevent a spill if you don't move it around much, although that kind of defeats the idea of using it for travel.
not dishwasher safe.
Had i known this was not dishwasher safe i would not have bought it. there was no mention of that. it appears pretty well made for the price, but i'm not going to bother using it. i'm returning it for something d/w safe.
