Houdini wine rack
I found it useful to put just one of these units in my refrigerator for the white wines that don't get quite cold enough in the wine refrigerator. The bottles can lay on their side nicely, keeping the cork damp, and taking up less space than they would otherwise in a refrigerator. I do not know how multiple units would hold up if they had a great number of bottles in them. But it was fine for my purposes....

Exactly what I needed
The Metrokane expandable wine rack is just perfect for the space I have in a cabinet. I bought 3 of them and they adjusted to exactly fit the space. They are a bit pricey but definitely worth it for what I needed.
