Interesting results at a friend's house- I'm getting one myself!
I have a friend who picked up one of these at a thrift shop for $2.95 and has used it extensively. She had me do some blindfold tests on several different bottles of cheap red wine and I could usually tell the difference between the "before" and "after" glasses. It seems to smooth out the cheaper wines very well. I brought some bottles over and tested it myself, with mixed results. One of the wines was an $8 Fetzer Cabernet- I think I liked it better before but my friend liked it better after.

I bought this with a certain amount of skepticism. How well could this thing really work?? Surprisingly well. All the wines I have placed on The Perfect Sommelier have become mellower & smoother to the palate. I am very pleased with the results & have purchased several more for friends who enjoy their wines. A great gift idea.

Anyone who says this doesn't work, doesn't know fine wine. You place a bottle on the sommelier for an hour. It magnetically ages the wine 1 yr.
