Very dissapointed I bought the previous version of this keyboard (the DGX 505) back in 2005 before they discontinued it and started making this "updated" version. I was so impressed with the older version as a fairly inexpensive great sounding board, I talked my church into buying this one since it looked to be the same with an nicely updated look.

Great instrument, a true step down from the Clavinova. I just recently purchased this piano from Best Buy and I must say that it is truly a marvel. My model number is the DGX-520 but it is exactly the same thing as the YPG-525, I am not sure why they have different model numbers, because I have seen pictures of both models and they look EXACTLY alike.

Anyway, this piano is one of the best that I have seen from Yamaha. And this is my third piano instrument from Yamaha. I started out with a small 43 key keyboard when I was just 7 years old... –Millionaire Manfrom Amazon.com

Great Keyboard for the Price! I am a long time Yamaha owner due to the quality of their products. For those interested in a Clavinova, please give this keyboard a look first. It's got a lot of the features that are found on the Calinovas, including the most important: Sound quality. This thing sounds amazing, especially the Sweet! and Live! instruments. I was completely blown away by the realism of the Live! Grand Piano voice. The Sweet! saxaphone and Growl sax are also worth mentioning. It has loads of built in featur... –A. Chaplinfrom Amazon.com
