Fast, reliable, easy to use
When I started asking around for recommendations for a new fax machine, almost everyone had one of these brother intellifaxes and raved about them. They send and receive quickly and reliably, they can handle fairly high volume, they're very low maintenence, and they're relatively inexpensive. My only complaint, which may be that I haven't figured out how to change it, is that the paper feeds in and out of the back of the fax, so that the machine must face sideways in order to have access to bo...

Excellent!
I own a store that sends faxes for customers, and I can tell you that this is a great fax machine for high volume faxing. Machines I've had in the past would choke on documents on even the lightest pastel colors. The scanning engine on this machine sees the background color, and ignores it, allowing those pages to be sent as quickly as if they were on bright white paper. No longer do I need to copy documents on color paper before faxing.
