Works just fine
I bought this keyboard shelf because the surface of my new corner desk was too high for me to comfortably type and use the mouse - I was having severe elbow pain. This shelf adjusts to a low enough height for comfortable use, and is wide enough that I don't have to reach for my mouse. I can place it right beside the keyboard....
