Doesn't stay in position
The design of this footrest is very basic, which is what makes it look nice, but it also means that it doesn't function very well. There's nothing to keep the platform in the position and at the angle where I set it, so after just a minute of resting my feet on it, the platform slides down and is too low to be any of any use. It's too bad that other footrests aren't as sleek. I think someone like me, who needs more than just an inch or two of lift, has to go for the extra functionality of the...

wish it locked in
The footrest came damaged, but I didn't want to mess with returning it and getting another one, so I kept it. It works ok but it does slip around a good bit. On the other hand, it's pretty simple so no complex mechanisms to try to figure out. I'm grateful for the foot support at work.

No more pain
I used to lose circulation to my legs as well as have back pain. Now sitting at my desk to work is a pleasure. The swivel function is great. Allows several positions to be comfortable.
