BEST BOOK LIGHT AND INCLUDES ADAPTER! I've tried many book lights, and so far this is the best all round. I tried one with an LED bulb, because the regular bulbs don't seem to last too long (perhaps burn hotter when using the AC adapter?), but the light from the LED was not sufficient for comfortable reading. It's also nice that the light and battery units are separate: makes it easier to clip to the book. And this particular version comes with AC adapter (if description is accurate - watch out for "paperback" version, which does no... –Don Hittlefrom Amazon.com

Works great for me!!! For me this is the perfect booklight to use at home... when my husband is sleeping and I still want to read a few more pages. No need to replace batteries constantly. Brightest light I've ever seen in a booklight. You only need to replace lightbulbs once in a while (for about $2.00!!!).
I've had mine for about 2 years now without any problems. I'm buying another one because the vacuum cleaner "ate" the cord!! :) –Rosa Paysonfrom Amazon.com

Questionable reliability I bought this product and was happy for the first month, then the product quit working. I replaced the bulb to see if that was the problem and that did not help. I then replaced the batteries and that did not work, so I bought the adapter and the product still does not work. I either got a lemon or the product is not reliable. –Carolfrom Amazon.com
