works great for a PC, no luck on a Mac
The nuscan 3000 is an excellent barcode scanner. It is comfortable to grip, lightweight, and it works like a charm without any other software using windows xp. Plug it in, and it scans immediately, printing the text directly into a program like MS Word. My problem with the product is that the Adesso web site and the vendor I bought it from both state it works in Mac OSX, and I bought it to use with a Mac. So far, no luck with OS X 10.4.7 or 10.4.8.
