not yet used I have ordered this opener but have not used it yet.Here's why I am entering this now. I had a stroke several years ago which left my left hand and arm useless. Opening a letter, a simple act, is very difficult for a handicapped person. If you wish to give a thoughtful gift, long to be appreciated, to a handicapped person, consider this. –D. A. Used this more than 5 years Tried other big boxes - some so loud they drowned out the whole office and ran continuously - but this little guy only runs when
it's actually cutting, then a little buzz. I keep waiting for the
cutters to dull or something but it's as sharp as new despite a
few stables, choking on a 10 page bundle or two. You can feed it
really fast - just stack the envelopes and keep slapping them
