Horrible...
I would never recommend this phone! It looks great and would be a great phone if everything worked but it doesn't. Whenever I am talking to someone and switch it to the speakerphone (a.k.a. "handsfree") mode the sound fades in and out so that I can only hear every other word that is being said. The answering machine time and date stamp also drives me crazy because it keeps giving me the wrong time. I'll reset it to the proper time and within a few days it's out of sync again. Solid 2-Line Wireless Phone - Recommended
We have used this phone (two of these base units and four VTech 20-2420 Accessory Handset for VT20-2400 Series Expandable Phones) for at least five years. Our luck has been somewhat better than other reviewers and we are mostly pleased with the system. Here are my observations:
Good features, poor quality.
The features of this phone are perfect, and worked very well for a few months. However, at this point the batteries in the handsets we have (2 of them) don't last more than a few hours on standby, and we cannot use either handset to dial a number because the digit buttons rarely work. This is typical of my experiences with Vtech products - I am done with this brand!
