AWESOME Phone System... I bought this phone system because I recently switched over to a VOIP provider and DITCHED my TelCo lines. I found an AWESOME price for what I needed on [...]. I got the base unit and SIX additional handsets for about $150.00 shipped! I don't need, nor do I care to use the cellphone, bluetooth features of the phone, that's not the reason I bought the phone to begin with. The phone system itself is absolutely AWESOME in every way. GOOD PHONE BUT CAUTIONS I have had this phone for several months. I was excited by the concept of using my cellphone all over the house via a home-phone. I have poor cellphone (Blackberry 8830) reception in most of my house -- but fair to OK in my office.

It has lots of nice features and -- as a phone works well.

As a link to my cellphone, it worked well for answering calls -- but, despite all efforts, it would not make outbound calls over the cellphone.

Good phone but now dated This phone works well for my application in all but one area.
The blue tooth call transferring from cell phone to the cordless phone works great if you have the right cell phone. I tried to pair three motorola phones - V710 with BTv1.2 (no), first E815 with BT2.0 (no), and second E815 with BT2.0(yes). I had two of the same model of phone E815 - one did not pair at all and the other did fantastically. I assume there is some software/hardware problem with the first E815.
