Not All It's Cracked Up to Be
I am a little disappointed with this phone. I read the other reviews and had mixed feelings about it. Not sure what it was but something told me not to get this phone. I like the three handsets. I like the small (home) base. The handset screens are easy to read. The phone features a handset speaker phone that sounds good and is easy to work. The phonebook is confusing (to me) to set up and it does not hold as many numbers as the old Uniden I gave up. And what really makes me ANGRY is the battery...

2 of 3 failed in less than a year
I purchased this three phone set in July 2008. We're a military family and trying to stretch every dollar. In February of this year, 2009, one of the phones failed. The square caller id 4-position button just below the display quit working in all but one direction. So, at that point, I had one phone with the volume turned all the way down.
