This phone is a toy
This phone looked good in the picture, and sounded good, but in real life it is just a toy. It looks like a toy and very cheap. However, even worse than that, it performs like a toy. When you press the keys to dial a number, you have to press keys 2-3 times for them to register. That is a real problem for people who want to dial quickly. Plus, the headset adapters were loose. Looking for Functionality and Ease of Use - DO NOT RECOMMEND PRODUCT
I had a Uniden TRU 8866 as a 2-line phone with Caller ID and ease of use. This phone has been used heavily for 10 years. I looked at the Verizon V500AM as a good upgrade, reading online I thought several recommendations were good. After receiving and setting up the phone, the Caller ID displays only the phone # and can do name, but only if it matches directory entry (limited to 50). Line switching is terrible. Sound crackles. Cannot have someone on hold on line 1 and switch between call waiting ...
