Great Sub Woofer, greater Amazon return policy
The sub-woofer is excellent, as stated elsewhere, but at first I received a defective one. After assuring myself that it was indeed a defective sample (humming sound), I proceeded with the return procedure. I was amazed at how efficient Amazon was. I was cross-shipped a new examplar, which I received within 1 (one) day, with a UPS pickup for the defective one. AMZN stock is flying high for a good reason!...

So I started with a $150.00 subwoofer (private label through Circuit city). It was rated a 4.8 out of 5 so I gave it shot. Everbody said "great sub for the money". Well it was just that, it was extremely muddy sounding. Then I went to a Klipsh Synergy 10" for $280 through Best Buy. Again great reviews, plus it was $120 off the $399 retail.
