design flaw could be improved
This was the only glider/pedal combination bike I could find that was set up to work this way. I didn't want to get training wheels for my 4 year old because I find them unstable. This way she can learn to balance and then go straight to pedals. Another benefit is that she can push it around in the backyard on the grass, which she wouldn't be able to do with training wheels. My neice loved it
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 3 year old niece. She absolutely loved it and started riding the bike in the house. She was learning balance right away and felt like a big girl on a big girl bike. I guess the true test will be when it's spring.
