Useful device with a couple of major design problems
First, the pro's: Small device, easy to use once programmed, very portable and great while on the road, at a park, in the office, car, etc. Quick access to the weather radio, alerts, etc. That's why I bought it... Battery operated, portable. The larger, better units, are really much more fixed devices.
The design problems... And I consider these major issues... First, there is no non-volatile memory. That means if you're working by battery and they die on you, you lose all of your set...

Weather Alert Monitor
I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, but never could figure out how to program this to get local weather alerts. So it was a waste of money.

Weather Radio
Excellent product and works great. I purchased four of these wx radios
as a gift to our grandchildren and our self for weather safety.
