Perfect for splitting a monitor between a PC and Mac Mini I have a 24" Gateway monitor and Vista PC with speakers that I wanted to hook up to a Mac mini and this Gefen KVM switch did the trick. It does require some manual intervention to do the switching but it has been working great ever since I installed it. I can now share a single keyboard, monitor (video) and mouse as well as the speakers. It works just as I had hoped and read on the other reviews. –Wayne J. Fieldsfrom Amazon.com

Solid switching at a reasonable price I've been very pleased with this device after using it for a few months to switch between a Dell 8300 and Dell XPS 630 connected to a 24" monitor (1920x1200 looks fine). The box has everything required to connect the systems, the Switcher is easy to set up, and works as advertised.

The two minor issues I've come across are that
1) My Logitech MX600 cordless mouse is "jumpy". I may just get one mouse for each system as the problem only occurs when the USB Receiver is plugged into the... –T. Myersfrom Amazon.com

Small Defects Mar an Excellent Product I've owned one of these for 8-9 months. I like it, but it has two (related) flaws:
1) I cannot boot up a system without switching to it, or it will not correctly connect the video, and 2) if I let a system suspend, I will often lose the video and end up having to reboot.

If it didn't have those flaws, I'd give it 5 stars. It's still a very good product overall. –Adam Connorfrom Amazon.com
