Want to upgrade your old tube tv set to a new high-definition LCD, but you only need a smaller size (and have a smaller budget)? The 32-inch Toshiba 32AV502U has what you are looking for, starting with 720p HD resolution, perfect for a set of this size, and saves on the cost of a 1080p set that would not have any visible difference in detail. And what office space couldn't use it as a good choice for a computer monitor via its PC input that can still perform double duty as a tv. And save space, since the built-in tv tuner allows you to receive all broadcasts, including cable, without a set-top box. The picture is bright and crisp, and its fast 8ms response time makes your fast action movies and video games more enjoyable with less blur. It even features 2 HDMI inputs to connect your digital components, unusual for a set this size. All in all a great set to make the switch from old school tv to new.

26 Apr 2009Good Picture for the moneyFirst off the item arrived in record time from the vendor. The picture compared to my Sony trinitron is more vibrant. I watched a Pay Per Movie from my cable provider and the picture was comparable to seeing it in the theater.
I havent even used the HDMI cable yet. Now the quality does fade when you move to close or view from an angle. But Im sure that happens with other 780 dpi models

13 Apr 2009great picture short life span.this TV has the best display that I had seen when I was shopping for my first LCD TV. Thank God for the 200 dollar extended service plan because the TV did not last more then 6 mo. I paid over a thousand dollars with the extended service plan and they are now telling me that the parts are no longer available to fix my TV.... and all I get is a prorated refund of 500 dollars. I will never buy any Toshiba product.–Robert V. Johnsonfrom Amazon.com
27 Feb 2009Great value, very happy with this purchaseI bought this TV after returning a Sony 32M4000.
The picture looks great and the price was considerably cheaper than the Sony. The Sony's picture looked washed out when viewed from an angle and it made people's faces look like the living dead. I do not notice this with the Toshiba. The picture looks wonderful. I also like that the connections on the back are pointed in the downward direction (rather than toward the wall) so that your cables do not have to make a 90 degree bend. ...–Luckyfrom Amazon.com
