Great idea--lousy reception
I wish I loved this TV. It is the only small HD one I could find for my vanity table. BUT, with the antenna, it is such a disappointment. The screen keeps freezing and pixellating into these squares. It happens all the time, and it totally bums me out. I haven't come across another option, however, so I'm sticking with this model, as frustrating as it is.
I really like it, except.....
for the whole antenna thing, and yes, I'm using the external one. I don't have cable in the kitchen but do a lot of TV watching there. On my old analog, I would fiddle with the antenna every time I changed the station and then be set. With this, not only do I have to fiddle when I change the station, but sometimes it pops up with "no signal" right in the middle of a show and then I have to fiddle some more. Bummed
I have had the Axion 7-inch portable TV for barely 4 months. The picture quality with the supplied antenna was OK, but suddenly I am receiving no picture, no signal. All other TVs in my house work fine. I am inclined to call this a piece of junk. And now the Amazon price is $20 less than I paid ($149). I would caution others against buying this.
