So far so good
So far the TV has been a great purchase, very pleased. If there were a downside to the DVD player it would be a very faint noise feedback when playing. Certainly not enough to wory about....

I purchased the LG tv for our bedroom, to replace a smaller standard tv. The LG picture is great and the built in DVD player is also a great idea. I read other reviews and a couple said the DVD player was noisey. So far, I can not complain with mine. Yes, when you first insert a disc, it sounds like a laptop DVD drive spinning as it reads the disc, but after a few seconds, the noise is gone and the picture is playing.
