Amazing
I purchased this sander because I was restoring a 150-yr-old pine floor and didn't want to remove 150 yrs of patina (just the paint and rough surfaces). Plus I wanted to hook the sander up to a HEPA vacuum to collect the lead paint dust.

Wow!
I always thought, "How could there be such a difference that would justify paying 8-10 times the cost of a regular sander?" Well, as a pro woodworker, I have tried just about everything - 6" belt sanders, Makita's BO6040, performax, etc. If you have a lot of finish sanding to do, this sander will erase many hours from your work day and do amore transparent job than anything. The results are undeniable.
