It isn't what it's advertised to be
I have a few issues with this compressor. First and foremost, Amazon describes it as "Campbell Hausfeld HL5502 1-1/2 Horsepower 4 Gallon Oiled Twin Hot Dog Gas Compressor" as of today (April 4, 2008). It is NOT a GAS powered compressor. It is ELECTRICAL, and you can verify this at the Campbell Hausfeld website. My other big issue is that it is made in China. That may not be a big deal to you, but it is a big deal to those of us that care. My last issue is that for it's size, this thing weig...

Good
I too bought this compressor from Costco and it came with a finish nailer.
I have used it extensively and am very happy with it. It isn't commerical quality, but it's perfect for anyone's home workshop/garage. Obviously it won't run tools that require huge volumes of air for extended periods of time. ie. you can't use a die grinder for minutes non-stop, but you can use a die grinder you just might need a little patience now and then.

incomplete package
As someone who is new to the Air tool game, I didn't want to spend alot of money seeing how I do not use air tools regularly but wanted to try them out.To get longer service life than oil free units, This compressor is an oil lubricated unit and yet it does not come with oil! I guess thats one way they can cut costs... It also does not come with a quick connect fitting at the output end, but rather has female threads that you screw an air hose into.
