A Good Cheap Moisture detector
I own a water damage restoration business [...] and we keep these units around for stand by units. They are accurate but not very sturdy. At this price you can break 10 of them and its still cheaper than the "other leading brand"

bang for the buck
I'm a paint contractor so it's important to know and be able to show the customer surfaces are dry enough to paint. I've been using a moisture meter I paid around $100 for ten years ago. This meter is at least as accurate. For my purposes it does the job and $25 is a great price. I don't know how durable it is but for occasional use it feels rugged enough.
