I bought this because I used the Bosch 9.6 volt drills in my construction job. We liked the light weight of the smaller drill and they lasted well. Now I'm retired and had to buy my own drill. I don't use it in a production manner so the bigger 12 volt model is fine. I was surprised at the difference in power. It will easily drive large screws and you will likely slip in your bit connection long before it would bog down. The fact that it is a reconditioned model means nothing to me as there ...

12 v Bosch drill
This drill replaces my old BOSCH 9.6 volt drill. The batteries were $49, so I bought this instead. This one has considerably more torque and speed than the old one, yet it is light and much smaller.I've had it for three months now, and like the old bosch, it's taken everything that's been thrown at it. It will drive large deck screws in tight spots and is light enough to use all day. A solid tool,the drill is made in Switzerland and the battery and charger are made in China.
