The best cordless tools on the market
I have been using Panasonic tools for 20+ years in the construction trades and have recently been given a Makita Lithium Ion drill as a gift. I knew it all along, the Makita just does not stand up. The most important factor when choosing a cordless tool is the AH (apm hour) rating. The higher the number the longer the batery will last. Panasonic has always provided the highest ah rating. I will regift the Makita drill and stick with Panasonic.

GREAT DRILL
I've used this drill for a couple of years and love it. Only used the saw a couple of times but was very pleased with it also. I owned a 18 volt Dewalt drill and it is no where near the performance of the Panasonic drill. The Panasonic lacks a couple features I would like - like an level and an extra bit holder. One of the batteries died a few months back - bottom line is you can get a new drill kit for about the same price as 2 replacement batteries

Panasonic tops all others
I managed a national-scope tool store for six years and have been working in construction trade full time for the last three years. The Panasonic drill and saw have proven to be physically tougher, batteries last longer, and have more power than DeWalt, Porter-Cable, and Makita, or any other drill I ever used, sold, or recieved customer feedback on. In our shop, the saw positively humbles our Makita and DeWalt cordless saws for power and battery life ( like 4-5 times the run time - no joke). ...
