skil tool set review
I have a similar set, only with a jig saw instead of a flashlight. the kit is a good price only 150 i paid, 2 batterys, and 4 tools. the drill works ok, and so does the saw zall.the batteries dont last too long, and the circular saw will eat a battery up in under 10 minutes of use, with a fully charged battery. I do like the battery charge leds on the batterys to give you an idea on the charge level. Overall nice kit, just need a few more batteries to make sure you dont run out mid job...

Where is my battery???
I ordered the 18v cordless 4-took combo kit and received it in great condition except that it had no battery, it had a charger but no battery to charge - ARGH! I have emailed countless times and also snail mailed correspondence (within the 30 day time limit)asking them to send me a battery and still not received any response. In the meantime, I had to go to Lowes and buy a battery for $60 to use my reconditioned drill, saw, etc. which I ordered to finish a home improvement project. I will never ...

Skil Factory-Reconditioned 18V Cordless 4-Tool Combo Kit 2887
All the pieces of the combo kit worked really great. The Skil Circular saw was the best as it uses standard 7 1/4 inch blades. For a battery operated device this is great. In terms of value, it great. I wouldn't pay twice as much for the new DeWalt 4-combo 36 volt kit. It's nice, but way too expensive. The only drawback is the flash light. It's a cheap energy sucking incandescent light. Skil should replace it with 10 or more high intensity white LED's. Overall good value.
