Excellent Knife Design This Irwin folding knife is a very good design. The blade is securely locked in the holder and does not come out during use like some other designs I have used. Okay, but not perfect... I purchased this at a local store for breaking down cardboard boxes at work. I collect higher-end folding knives so this review comes from someone who may be a bit more critical than most...just a heads-up.

The knife is nice and light with a great pocket clip as compared to most folding utility knives--not too tight but not so loose that it will get lost. The metal bits are pretty well-finished and the lockback mechanism locks up tight. I really like the way it looks.

better than the rest! The knife has fixed all the problems where other folding utility knives fall short. No sharp blade change tab to catch your thumb and either cut you, or make your blade come out.

Since this knife has to be moved to the half open position to change the blade, you know that when it's locked, that blade isn't going anywhere!
