Do not buy this
The 220V plug doesn't fit to this. The plug barely touches the electrode, remaining unstable. Electrodes are too tight to accept the 220V plug. Once the plug touches the electrode inside, it works though....

Not for long term use
I purchased this in hopes of running a 50 watt import gaming system. I was impressed with the price, after seeing my other best hope, a 40 Watt reverse converter from Radio Shack going for $40.
I was disappointed to find out that this item is only rated for up to 25 Watts for long term use - the system would shut off after around 7 minutes.
If you're not running heavy duty gear, this is a nice item, but don't expect miracles.

Perfect for a tech traveller
Unfortunately often manufacturers of electronics deliver power supplies that accept 110V or 220V exclusively. When travelling this can develop to a major pain, as almost all of us own such electronics, such as battery chargers.
However, I'm extremely delighted that I'm lucky enough to have found this product, as it is quite perfect for travellers wanting to use European 220V products in the United States and other areas using 110V electrical current.
