This is fantastic
I did not know my outlet I had my computers pluged into was bad until I plugged this in and the rsd light came on. I am very grateful for that red light. I used another outlet and it stayed green. That outlet could have done a lot of damage to my computers. The price was great and it will let you know you have a bad outlet. I believe everyone with a computer should have one of these just to know when your outlet goes bad.

Well Worth the Money
When I first bought this product a couple of years ago, the driving reason was APC's reputation and the price of the unit. I had worked with some APC UPSs in my job and was impressed with the quality of the product.Well, last week this product earned it's keep. Lightning struck a tree not more than 30 feet from our house. It fried one TV, 2 VCRs, and other items (not protected by APC products, but by other generic power strip surge suppresors).
