Great tool and a good deal
I used my $50 Dewalt rebate for this and am most happy with my $29.99 reciprocating saw. I had forgotten that it was a factory reconditioned unit until I decided to read the other reviews. I see no signs that this saw is not a new unit. First thing out of the box I used the saw to cut a solid piece of 1.5 inch cold roll. Gets the job done
This isn't a tool that gets a whole lot of use, but sure is useful when doing renovations. Good tool. The quick disconnect is a must, especially when handling hot blades. Lots of power. It is also great for cutting PVC pipe.

Pretty good, but
It doesn't see much action in my line of work, so I bought it on the cheap. I like the way you can orient the blade either vertical or horizontal. But it doesn't have the power (or orbital action) of my 30 year old Porter Cable. Its OK, and has managed to cut a 4-inch cast iron drain pipe.
