Great way to enhance your planer!
Before I got this dust collector adapter I had sawdust and chips flying all over my shop. With a 1 HP dust collector ALL shavings are collected. My only gripe is that this is made out of plastic and not very sturdy. Your dust collector hose is mounted directly above the outfeed and must be suspended somehow. Don't allow the dust collector hose to be pulled upwards as it might damage your new dust chute. Very easy to install.

With a little modification it will work on the 12 1/2 inch planer
With a small modification it will work on the 12 1/2 inch planer. Would like to see one designed for the 12 1/2 planer but this one works satisfactory
