Parrot toy
I actually bought this toy to give my parrot, Jack (a Ducorps cocokatoo) something to keep him busy. I assemble various groups of Knex together, and Jack proceeds to take them apart. He loves them, and while he ultimately will chew some pieces into oblivion, most are re-used over and over, so I'd have to say they were very durable. Not their intended use, but a successful adaptation, I'd say.

Wonderful gift for a 7 year-old
My grandson loves this construction toy by knex, as does his father, an engineer. It is excellent for teaching, is tough and durable and has given him hours and hours of pleasure. Rah-rah. Grandma hit the nail on the head, giftwise. Send Grandma to Hawaii. Please?
