Not great, not bad
My oldest daughter got this product for her 7th birthday. She and her younger sister (almost 4) had been begging for it, so I was happy to not have to pay for it. (I'd heard that it wasn't worth the money) The girls tried it out for the first time today and had fun making their first creation, a fish. I have a lot of experience with "melty beads" so I know how fragile these types of crafts can be. I told my daughters that they had to play with the creations very carefully and if they break,...

oh well....
I bought this for my daughter's 6th birthday. She was sooo excited, but when she got started, it became too tedious for her and she lost interest quickly. However, my 8 year old loved it! She made all of the items that were shown on the box. The only problem was that the pixo balls didn't retain the shape that she made. After a couple of days, some of the ball started to fall off. I had also read some of the bad reviews, but caved under pressure. My older daughter would probably ask for m...

Frustrating for parents and children!
My 6 year old and 4 /12 year old begged me for this toy. It is so frustrating to put the little balls in the pen, and to then get them back out again! Whoever invented this toy must not have any children! The balls end up all over the floor, and the pen is worthless. It is easier to use your fingers to get the balls in the spaces, but even that is frustrating for all involved. Not to mention the fact that it is a fairly expensive toy for what you get! There are so many great toys out there...
