Better than the later models
I had read other reviews about the Leapster L-max when it first came out, and most reviewers said the old version (triangular shape) was better than the new ones, so I bought the old version instead. They were right! My daughter has used hers for at least 3 years now and it still works just as well as the day she got it. Before giving it to her, I tested it out.
