Too much in one
I don't like this toy, because it tries to pack too much into one toy. Yes, exposing children to numbers and letters early on is good, and this toy will definitely get their attention, but I think the LED letters and numbers on top of the music are just too much at once. Maybe if you could turn off the background music and listen only to the numbers or letters, it would make a little more sense.

It's alright
This toy is just "okay." We got it as a baby shower gift and we took it out when my daughter was around 6 months old. She couldn't drum on it quite then, but now that she's over a year, she's able to drum without problems.
But does she like to play with this? Not so much. She'll maybe get through half of the alphabet and then move on to the next toy. It'll occupy her for maybe 30 seconds. So is it worth to have? I don't think so. But maybe she'll end up liking it down the road whe...

Maybe this is just for "bangers"
Our daughter has had this drum for at least three months, and hasn't shown much interest in it (or in banging things in general).
The toy itself it well made, and easily withstands the abuse a baby can throw at it. On my personal scale of "how annoying is this noise-making toy", I'd have to say that this rates squarely between "Whoever got her this is going to pay dearly." and "Oh no, daddy can't find the batteries!"
