This globe was not purchased for a child, it was given to an older adult. I have always been fascinated with globes, so when it went on super sale at Amazon, my daughter purchased it for me for Christmas. I was horrible in geography, and when the news would come on about different countries, I could never picture where it was happening. Smart Globe was a big hit
This was a gift for my 4 year old. When asked what he wanted for his birthday, he replied a globe. He has played with this over and over and since it is so interactive, it can be used for years to come. Right now he just touches a continent and then repeats what the globe tells him.
