Very Nice But Not Solid Wood I went back and forth between buying the Bright & Bold kitchen versus the more subtle, pastel KidKraft kitchen. The ONLY reason I went with the Bright & Bold set was due to the fact that it is advertised as "made of wood" while the pastel kitchen description notes it is made of composite wood. This language is found both on Amazon and on the KidKraft website. The Bright & Bold kitchen is NOT 100% solid wood, there are composite wood components--i.e. pressed wood. Some of the piec... –T. Great Product! Worth the $$! This product is great. I ordered this for the daycare that I run out of my home for ages 2 - 10. All ages love this kitchen. It took me a bit of time to put it all together but it is very durable, and the kids absolutely can not get enough of it. Even though it says recommended up to age 9, the 10 year olds have fun playing with it too. Not small and dinky either. Great product for the money! –Kaseyfrom Amazon.com

Daughter loves it The toy it self is just fine. There was a lot of parts and it took a while to assemble. You have to look at the pictures very carefully when assembling it.

As far as the mfg, I was missing some parts so I contacted them by phone. They never returned my calls after two tries. It was to close to Christmas so I could not wait on them any longer. I had to improvise for Santa so it would not be a disappointment.
