Yum -- finally, HEALTHY fake food
OK, so it wouldn't be healthy to eat ALL of the food at once, but I was attracted to the Learning Resources breakfast kit after growing weary of the fast food-themed plastic food packs. The food in this kit looks good (almost a little too good...I've had to remind my son this is not real bacon) and is quite durable.

Stands up to usage
Even when this play food is repeatedly bitten, you won't see teeth marks. The food is realistic and very durable. Some of our pieces were even taken into the bathtub, and they dried out easily--no water stuck inside.
