We have started a tradition of hosting a Groundhog Day party each February, as a way to get friends together during the frigid winter months. This puppet is a great centerpiece and is also fun for the younger kids to play with. We have two of them. They're perfect for the occasion.

This puppet was inexpensive and had very realistic fur. Also the limbs and mouth moved very well and also looked realistic. However there are a few things that leave the puppet looking a little bit unrealistic and fake. First is bad eye location. Second is that mine had a crooked nose :-P Third is the seam running down the groundhog's back. Overall, I am VERY VERY happy with this puppet and I am impressed with all of folkmanis' puppets, they are all very beautiful and charming :-)
