Gets the Job Done
I bought this because my 22m likes puzzles and has good hand-eye coordination. He has showed an interest in letters and numbers recently. I tried to find something that was nicer but couldn't. I would preferred a sturdier puzzle with more vibrant colors and somewhat bigger letters. Also, I think the graphics chosen to complement some of the letters are odd. I don't really expect much from M&D products and this lived up to my expectation: it gets the job done.
Neat idea, great puzzle, but strange picture choices
Love the idea of a great puzzle, especially one that teaches the alphabet at the same time. Just not sure about the choices for the pictures under the letters that correspond (i.e. you pick up the letter "j" and there is a jump rope-- "i" and there is an insect to which my daughter yells "bug!")
Great Puzzle!
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son (17 mos at the time) and thought maybe it would be a little difficult for him at that time but we gave it a whirl. By the end of January he knew all of the letters and their respective places. We also reinforced "B is for Basket" "H is for House" etc. and he really understands the objects underneath. Now, less than 2 months after starting this, he is starting to show me letters in all the different places we find them, his Car's cup said "DOC HU...
