Not a play toy!
This is a well executed, highly detailed, diecast scale model. It is made to be exibited with pride, and should be displayed in a clear case or other enclosure to keep dust off, but NOT played with by some child. If you find one for $9 as another reviewer stated, be assured that it will be of a smaller scale (probably 1:43), and much less detailed. My biggest complaint is in the use of plastic instead of metal for many of the small details. I only gave it 1 star for durability because it is no...

Nice collectors item
My son has a firetruck themed bedroom. This classic firetruck was purchased for display on his bookshelf. I purchased a couple and they seem to be quality products with nice packaging, perfect for gift giving. It looks expensive, like the original almost $50.00 price, not the $9.00 I paid for this firetruck. Nice details on the truck including ladders.
