what a disappointment
I already own this game for my PS2 and love, LOVE, the PS2 version. When I bought a DS Lite, I was excited to see this version. I should have looked here before I tore into the plastic wrap. While I had hoped for the intuitive and entertaining game that I've played before, I ended up fighting with the interface within the first 10 minutes. Boring.
I bought Lego Star Wars II for DS, even after not really liking Lego Star Wars I for Gamecube. (I must have bought it used.) Just like Lego Star Wars I, the game itself was nothing more that slashing everything and collecting random lego parts. Just like regular Legos, I wish it was more fun than it actually is.

There is a process you go through in game development called play testing. They must have skipped this.
